India Vs USA

In recent past, i was observing people's craze for going US. This craze is specially more among software professional. Every software professional is looking for a opportunity, when his company will send him US. This urge of getting a opportunity to see the world is justified. But I find lot many people who just became fond of every thing of that place. Instead of thinking how to improve those things in India, they just want to go USA and enjoy those things. This i feel is actually running away from your responsibility of being a Indian citizen.

Ya i agree with your point, actually there is lot more to write in this blog. I will quote you a incidence, which will reflect the mentality of a majority of software professional. Once i was chatting with my frnd, i asked her about her dream. She answered,"To go in some foreign land and have my own company". I questioned her,"Why not in India". Her answer was,"Facility in India sucks".

But i agree that there are many indians who are enhancing their skills there and coming back to serve the nation. I respect those people.

I agree to some extant and i would like to mention that the craze is not only in the Software Community, it is in all the communities. While i was preparing for gre i came in touch with so many people from medical profession and arts who are putting their best feet to get into foreign university and not only US. They have a craze to go to IS, CANADA and AUSTRALIA to learn new things from their system and bring valuable knowledge back to India. I don't think it is at all wrong. As far as software industry is concerned the people want to go abroad just to earn some money and this also provide them the opportunity to visit a new place and learn new skills. If u stay at one place there is a time when u stop learning from the place and i think this stagnatation should not be there. We cannot forget that the idea of independence came to india when Mahatma Gandhi went to SA and learn a different strategy to combat colonism.
So I think this is not all unwarranted and infact bring the revenue to Indian IT industries and thus most valuable tax to the national government.

Well, people do what they do mostly due to their selfish motives and it is hardly anything to do with serving the nation mostly. Yes, one of the most important things that we as Indian citizens should do is to play a more active role in the running of the nation. We are the lucky few who are educated and well placed in the country. Still, how mush does each of us contribute to the country? We see a lot of educated people taking key positions as Chief ministers and other responsible posts. how amny of them are successful? Why is it that the corrupt and dimwit politicians are always succesful? and why is it that we let these no-wises decide the destiny of the nation? Do you part to your beloved country. Take that time out and at least express your desire as to who should run your nation. Vote! that is the least you can do to your country and yours and my decision cannot be wrong. It would not happen overnite, still you will see that over time it makes a BIG difference!
